PAUL RODGERS To Headline Police Memorial Concert

April 25, 2007

Launch Radio Networks reports that Paul Rodgers has signed on to headline a police memorial benefit concert. The event will be held June 13 at The Avalon in Los Angeles, with long-time L.A. radio legend Jim Ladd acting as the emcee, and Rodgers will be backed by the group HEAVEN & EARTH. The bill also includes the all-female AC/DC tribute band THUND-HER-STRUCK, as well as an acoustic performance by singer-guitarist Mark Castrillon.

Standard tickets run $50. VIP passes that include an after-party with a meet-and-greet cost $100. The performers have all donated their time, and all proceeds will go to the Los Angeles Police Memorial Foundation, which provides assistance to the families of slain and injured police officers.

Rodgers released a concert album last week called "Live In Glasgow".

His next show is May 4 in Temecula, California.
